The Specialist: Materials & Services provides direct output support to the Superintendent: Materials & Services, through establishment and maintenance of effective materials and service master data in support of the Regional Supply Chain.
Accountabilities
Establish and sustain robust material and service master data structures Perform master data cleansing and eliminate duplicates to ensure data integrity Capture new master data field requirements and ensure alignment with coding standards Support additional tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the Superintendent – Materials & Services Investigate and resolve SAP data quality issues, including root cause analysis and correction Identify and implement opportunities for common supply across operational assets
About you

Proficient in using Master Data Record Management (MDRM) tools for accurate coding and data integrity Proven ability in verifying data and interpreting mining plant spare parts Prior experience in creating material and service master records, ideally within the mining industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to liaise effectively across teams Relevant technical expertise in the classification and coding of technical master data Demonstrated experience working with SAP Strong understanding of supply chain operations and material management frameworks Intermediate Excel skills for data management and analysis Familiarity with Repairable/Rotable processes and component lifecycle management
