Specialist Leader, Transfer Pricing

What you'll do As a Tax Specialist Leader, you will work within an engagement team and draw on experience in accounting and taxation to provide tax compliance and consulting services to multinational clients on the tax implications of their transfer pricing operations; and you will identify complex tax issues and provide tax analysis and recommendations for these entities and their affiliates. Additional responsibilities will include: + Assisting clients with their implementation of specific transfer pricing tax structures and processes. + Overseeing complex tax computation projects for clients in diverse industries. + Researching and preparing materials for consulting projects related to tax planning considerations. + Providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance for the development and motivation of the engagement team. + Supervising tax consultants, senior consultants, and managers. In this role you will also help support the Delivery Center and will work with a regional team to execute transfer pricing projects, including large and small documentation projects, benchmarking, country by country reporting and Advanced Pricing Agreement assistance. This multidisciplinary group, comprised of professionals with backgrounds in tax, economics, law, finance, and accounting, brings a well-rounded approach to each engagement. Qualifications Required: + Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week. + 8+ years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work, preferably with a focus on Transfer Pricing + Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent + Experience managing senior-level client relationships + Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. + One of the following active accreditations obtained: + Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA + If not CPA eligible, one of the other designations listed below based on role requirements and business approval: + Licensed attorney + Enrolled Agent + Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, Management, Business, Public Policy, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) + Other: foreign equivalent of the above Preferred: + Previous Big 4 experience, public accounting or consulting experience + Experience participating in strategic planning initiatives + Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment + Strong research and verbal and written communication skills + Strong executive presence The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $145,250 to $330,590. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
