This People Services (PS) position is an integral member of the Talent Acquisition Welcome Wagon team, responsible for ensuring a smooth candidate experience and timely progression through all pre-employment screenings and compliance requirements. The Specialist III acts as the trusted point of contact to hiring managers and Village partners, monitoring candidate life cycles, ensuring screenings are completed within service level agreement (SLA), and ultimately supporting accurate and timely hire decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Lifecycle & Onboarding Support
Provide onboarding, monitoring, research, and administrative support to hiring managers across the VillageOversee the full Welcome Wagon onboarding process for assigned candidates, ensuring background checks, drug screens, and other state/local screenings are initiated and completed within SLAReview and process internal job changes (e.g., promotions, transfers, lateral moves) by proactively initiating and monitoring required screenings to ensure compliance and timely teammate transitionsTrack and monitor candidate progress across multiple systems, proactively resolving issues to avoid delaysReview screening outcomes and documentation to make timely and accurate hire decisionsCompliance & Data Integrity
Ensure adherence to People Services policies, state/federal regulations, and company compliance requirements.Maintain data integrity across platforms. Maintain various databases of information to initiate, update, and complete onboarding processes, and adjudicate basic screenings in systems such as:– Workday
– eScreen
– HireRightUse reporting and automation to process audits and report metrics
Collaboration & Relationship Management
Partner with other corporate PS functions (e.g., Teammate Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting), to deliver positive business resultsCommunicate effectively with Village partners, hiring managers, and external vendors to resolve escalations and ensure an exceptional candidate experienceBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive accountability and efficiencyTraining & Continuous Improvement
Conduct process and procedure training as needed for internal stakeholders and teammatesIdentify process bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve compliance, reduce turnaround times, and enhance candidate experienceContribute to team projects focused on streamlining workflows and strengthening the Welcome Wagon processMinimum Qualifications

The Wage Range for the role is $24.00 - $36.50 per hour.
