Specialist II, Automation Global - Converse
**WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH** The Specialist II will collaborate with various teams at Converse, focusing on automation, process improvement, and packaging projects. This role involves interactions with PCM (product creation and merchandizing) team members, collaborators, vendors, factory, design, development, logistics, geos, and leadership. This role is located at Converse World Headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts and is not remote eligible. **WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR** Our team is looking for a specialist who can manage and support several dynamic projects happening throughout operations: + Manage relationships with different stakeholders. + Own automation, sampling, and packaging enterprise wide. + Drive business through support of key milestone. + Enable business teams to make best decisions. + Enable new ways of working and provide solutions to ease cumbersome processes. **WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON** This role is divided into four work streams. Here are the responsibilities of each of them. **Automation:** + Identify and support opportunities for process improvement and automation. + Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their current processes and propose efficient enhancements. + Identify technical solutions to optimize processes (e.g., Smartsheet). **Supporting PCM Operations:** + Assist operations and technical teams in implementing and enhancing technology. + Support enterprise-wide initiatives with process documentation, testing plans, stakeholder training/engagement, and securing buy-in. **Sampling:** + Manage the end-to-end sampling process from gathering line plans to input from geos. + Work with logistics teams to convert sample requests into finished products. + Provide support to teams with inquiries related to sampling, such as invoicing and delivery. **Packaging:** + Support specialty packaging with product creation and management. + Coordinate with vendors on logistics for packaging creation. **WHAT YOU BRING** + Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. + Experience in process improvement and automation. + Experience in the retail industry, product creation, logistics, or supply chain is advantageous. + Experience participating in technical solution efforts with both business and technology teams to balance process and technology is advantageous. + An ability to embrace change, act with courage, instill trust, think strategically, communicate vision and purpose, and foster effective teamwork. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.
