Job Description

The purpose of this job is to prepare and file store license applications and renewals.
Essential Functions    

Prepare and file store license applications and renewals including gross receipts analysis to determine renewal feesPerform duties associated with payment, accounting, and documentation of tax or license liabilities Work with third party property tax provider to manage payments and journal entries Assist in reconciling licensing, business tax, gross receipts, and property tax budgetsHelp prepare economic impact study data requestsModel behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest levelEnsure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and proceduresComplete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

Associate degree requiredBachelor’s degree in accounting or related business field preferredMinimum one year multi-state general retail licensing experience preferredBasic Microsoft Office skills Familiarity with Lawson or Infor preferredFamiliarity with multi-jurisdiction and Canadian tax and licensing lawsExcellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to make decisions and work with minimal supervisionAbility to set priorities, multitask, meet deadlines, and resolve problems with a high sense of urgencyAbility to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines
