Specialist Channel Analytics - 16 month contract

Embark on a rewarding career with Sobeys Inc., celebrated among Canada’s Top 100 employers where your unique contributions drive success. **Ready to Make an Impact?** As a Specialist in digital Channel Analytics - you'll support the development, growth, optimization, and reporting of Empire's digital customer channels, including B2C and B2B websites, mobile apps, and direct-to-customer communications on the Digital Channel Analytics team. You will use Google Analytics, SAS, SQL, and Salesforce MCI to derive insights that will influence business decisions, drive value for our customers, and aid Empire in its ambition to become the best retailer in Canada. **Here's where you;ll be focusing:** + Generate reports for Empire's digital customer channels such as B2C and B2B websites, mobile apps, and direct-to-customer communications. + Streamline and organize the digital channel data, ensuring accuracy and reliability, accountability for data sources and measurement methodologies. + Analyze digital channel performance, user behaviour, and conversion - interpreting data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. + Work with a diverse team of specialists with an inclusive attitude and open communication. + Use Salesforce's Marketing Cloud Intelligence (MCI) & and Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to create and maintain Salesforce MCI or LookerStudio dashboards + Collaborate with our CMO Organization; working closely with the Customer Analytics, Consumer Insights, and Media teams to gather campaign and channel reporting requirements, align on key performance indicators, identify tagging requirements, and develop required reports and dashboards. + Collaborate with our CTAO; engaging with Product, Advanced Analytics, Developer, and Data teams for data synchronization, data point enhancements, and ensuring new functionalities/features are rolled out to support reporting needs. + Proficient in data retrieval, structuring and visualization to amalgamate disparate data sets into a cohesive view + Analytical thinking, data interpretation, project management, and a user-centric approach + Knowledge of and experience with Google Analytics, Big Query, MS Excel, Sales Force Marketing Cloud, Tableau and Datorama **What you have to offer:** + 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in B2C marketing, data or analytics with a primary focus on digital + Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) + Proficiency with SAS and SQL + Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy. + A post-secondary degree in data science, marketing analytics, commerce, or related field + Self-starter that identifies opportunities where data & analytics help to solve real business problems + Able to engage in active listening to gather requirements and develop digital channel analytics capabilities and supporting toolsets. + Strong communication skills, self-aware - able to think innovatively, and work collaboratively to solve interesting problems. + A deeply curious and critical thinker who is motivated by unanswered questions and the drive to solve them through creative and transparent methods. **A bonus, but not required:** + Experience with Looker Studio or MCI + Experience with Google BigQuery or Synapse + Experience with Salesforce CDP + Experience in omnichannel retail + Knowledge of other platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DV360 \#LI-CF2 #LI-Hybrid **Who we are:** We started in a small town in Nova Scotia but we are now in communities of all sizes across this great country.
