**Job Title:** Procurement Buyer – EMEA
**Location: Madrid,Spain**
**Employment Type:** Full-time.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Develop, process, and authorize all purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
+ Monitor all Purchase Orders and maintain effective relationship with suppliers and procurement peers.
+ Process new supplier creation requests and perform supplier validation in trade compliance tool.
+ Develop and maintain relationship with new suppliers and manage items information, and update purchasing data in ERP.
+ Supervise goods delivery and monitor for transport damage and return goods.
+ Perform troubleshoot on all invoices and price issues along with delivery related problems.
+ Evaluate performance of all carriers, suppliers and goods delivery and make recommendations to improve processes for international buying process.
+ Maintain effective communication with internal customers / functional stakeholders
+ Monitor service delivery progress and take necessary actions to ensure timely availability of services to minimize impact on business.
+ Evaluate all bids, contracts and suppliers' agreements and ensure accuracy and price the same on Purchase Orders.
+ Administer used, new and overstocked items and monitor all alternate sources for rejected, backordered and high-value items.
+ Manage all communication and negotiate with suppliers on price and delivery terms to reduce supply shortfalls, excess and costs.
+ Coordinate with suppliers to identify effective business requirements and opportunities for savings.
+ Provide analysis on detail cost comparison.
+ Participate in the roll-out of internal Finance transformation program in the region.
+ Support with supplier master data validation and updates for data migration activities for new ERP system.
**Key Relationships**
+ The role will report to Procurement Team Lead – EMEA
+ Key relationships will include:
+ Members of Global Procurement unit
+ Members of Finance, Legal & Commercial Operations units
+ Global Process Owner – Procure to Pay (GPO P2P)
+ Internal Business Stakeholders
**_Skills & Qualifications_**
+ Experience of process standardisation within a large, multi-layered, global organisation
+ Experience of working with diversified pool of suppliers
+ Experience of transformational programmes beneficial
+ Familiar with Procure-To-Pay process within ERP system
+ Positive attitude and comfortable managing ambiguity
+ An ability to think innovatively and creatively when faced with difficult situations
+ Challenging style, able to deal confidently with objections and difficulties
+ Excellent stakeholder management skills
+ Excellent communication, both written and verbal
+ Strong personal resilience
+ Experience with Oracle Fusion, Supplier Master Data, Trade Automation, Readsoft or Concur beneficial
+ Analytical, results-orientated
+ Understanding of IT interaction between process and related systems
+ A strong procurement background with additional supply chain experience
+ University Degree
+ Languages: English (at least B2 level) mandatory. Other official EU language beneficial.
