Specialist Business Analysis - Service Governance

Job Profile Summary                      Regulatory guidelines for financial institutions have increased the requirements and responsibilities associated   with outsourcing services to affiliates and third parties.  Service Governance Specialists, who report to the Head of Service Governance Office, will be responsible for the identification and requirement development for the Service Governance Reporting, Service Level Agreement and Intercompany Arrangement areas. 

 

Job Description                                 Responsible for managing multiple projects or work streams. The business analyst function plays a key role during the onset of a project or program by helping define scope and create requirements working closely with business partners to understand and translate needs. This role serves as a contract for it during the design, development, and testing phase. Functional expertise is required 

 

For SLAs, create synergies in documentation, challenge the content, get it fit for purpose, realign service catalogue to RAU and develop golden data sources with Content Management and Reporting Head 

 

For ICAs, create inventories, challenge content, validate content provided by outsourcing managers, support ICA Program Lead to redesign the ICA program to meet RCE deadlines, ensure that we are in compliance with all RCE programs, and connect the dots between programs within the Service Governance team.  

Major Duties :1. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise

2. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities

3. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues

4. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity

Knowledge :• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

• In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required

• Highly flexible and adaptable to change

• Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.

Experience :Seasoned expert with extensive technical and business knowledge and functional expertise that has been developed over 15+ years and/or equivalent experience.
