Job Description:

Over 5 years of hands-on experience, along with relevant certifications, working across key ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, ITOM, GRC, Performance Analytics etc., and a strong experience in ServiceNow CMDB
Extensive expertise in building integrations and developing Scoped/Custom applications.
Bachelor’s degree in a related or relevant discipline.
Solid experience in software engineering or enterprise application development, with a strong understanding of the SDLC process.
Experience leading end-to-end implementations or design solutions for complex implementations.

Preferred qualifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications are required.
Possession of any ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
> ServiceNow Development & Platform Customization:
- Build scalable, maintainable, scoped applications and reusable components in accordance with ServiceNow best practices and secure coding standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow Service Catalogs, including catalog items, record producers, variables, UI policies, client scripts, and approval workflows to deliver intuitive, user-friendly service experiences.
- Deliver end-to-end solutions through configuration and custom development across UI, workflows, reports, data imports, integrations, and platform scripting.

> Automation & Process Orchestration:
- Design and implement workflow automation using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor to streamline business processes.
- Analyze functional and technical requirements to deliver efficient, reliable, and scalable automation solutions.

> Integrations & Data Exchange:
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub.
- Enable seamless, secure, and reliable data exchange with third-party systems and enterprise platforms.

> CMDB Design & Management:
- Enforce CMDB data quality standards, including naming conventions, classification rules, and relationship accuracy.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates, and gaps in the CMDB.
- Identify opportunities to optimize CMDB processes, workflows, and data quality.

> Data Model & Platform Architecture:
- Experience working with the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) in enterprise environments.
- Ensure data integrity, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards.

> Performance, Quality & Optimization:
- Ensure optimal platform performance through efficient scripting, query optimization, and adherence to ServiceNow performance best practices.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend continuous improvements

> Collaboration, Governance & Delivery:
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions across the development lifecycle.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely delivery.
- Contribute to platform governance by defining and maintaining development standards, best practices, documentation, and support procedures.

Key Skills:

- Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, development, and administration, including ITSM, CMDB, Service Portal, CSDM, and enterprise-scale custom applications.
- Advanced JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting capabilities, with strong command of design patterns, performance optimization, and secure coding standards.
- Strong experience in workflow automation and orchestration, leveraging Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and IntegrationHub ETL to deliver scalable business solutions.
- Extensive experience designing and governing integrations using REST and SOAP, including complex data flows and third-party system integrations.
- Strong understanding of CMDB strategy and governance, including data quality, CI lifecycle management, and CSDM alignment in large enterprise environments.
- Expertise in solution design, application architecture, and the full SDLC, from requirements analysis and technical design through testing, deployment, and support.
- Strong background in UI and user experience design, ensuring intuitive, user-focused ServiceNow solutions.
- Solid knowledge of process management, information security, and platform governance, with the ability to align solutions to enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and apply them pragmatically to improve platform capability and business outcomes.
