Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Informatica / DataStage / AWS PySpark Developer with strong ETL experience to join our dynamic data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have up to 7 years of experience in data integration, ETL processes, and a solid understanding of SQL. This role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of data solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesETL Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica, DataStage, and AWS PySpark to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data integration solutions that meet business needs.SQL Proficiency: Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure high-quality data delivery.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and system architecture.Collaboration: Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical support.Cloud Technologies: Utilize AWS services (such as S3, Redshift, and Glue) to enhance data processing and storage capabilities.Required QualificationsExperience: Up to 7 years of hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica, DataStage, and AWS PySpark.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage).Proficiency in AWS services related to data processing and storage.Solid understanding of SQL and experience in writing complex queries.Data Integration: Proven experience in data integration techniques and methodologies.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Certifications: Relevant certifications in Informatica, DataStage, AWS, or data engineering are a plus.Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools.Equal Employment Opportunity
