Specialist, VQ Assessment Leader
**Job Title:** VQ Assessment Leader **Description:** In this role, you will lead and deliver high-quality vocational assessment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across Pearson’s vocational qualifications. The position aligns with market titles such as Assessment Lead, Vocational Assessment Specialist, Quality Assurance Lead, Content & Assessment Manager, or Assessment Coordinator, with a focus on managing assessment content, maintaining regulatory standards, and improving assessment outcomes for learners. **The Role** This role exists to ensure the integrity and quality of vocational assessments, enabling learners to achieve valid, reliable outcomes. You’ll wake up motivated by delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality assessment outputs while supporting continuous improvement in processes and content management. In your first six months, your biggest impact will come from ensuring smooth assessment delivery, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and optimising assessment processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency. You will own: + End-to-end management of assessment content and processes for allocated vocational qualifications + Analysis of assessment data to inform decisions on grade boundaries, risk ratings, and process improvements + Monitoring and managing contractors and external partners to maintain delivery standards You’ll also lead and influence: + Continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and enhance assessment processes + Effective stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment, accurate content production, and timely assessment results + Adoption of digital tools to improve assessment efficiency and learner experience **About You** You bring expertise in assessment delivery and quality management, with the ability to work accurately under pressure while managing competing priorities.
