Conferences and trade shows represent one of our most critical opportunities to interact with our customers, investors, competitors and one another. As the Trade Shows Specialist, you will execute assigned shows and tasks for the Instruments division, creating an experience that brings our brand to life and enables product education and engagement with our customers. Your role is dynamic and highly collaborative, requiring tactical planning and execution. You are responsible for connecting people, ideas, tools and stories to have maximum impact. You serve as an integral member of the team, working alongside stakeholders to understand our customers and elevate Instrument’s brand at conferences of varying scales.
What you will do:
Align with Trade Show Managers and business unit stakeholders to execute the Instrument division trade show experiences in and outside of the booth, for assigned shows and conferences spanning the 6 Instruments business units and the Neurotechnology virtual business unit.Support all 7 businesses in varying tasks, such as Tier 4 show management (some level 3), room block management, GRT submission, society/vendor payment, and more.Establish relationships with immediate team and internal customers to provide a collaborative approach to the successful planning and execution of assigned shows.Attendee management for Tier 1 shows, including housing and badges.Manage and operate Event Express, including partnering with Taylor group, business unit leads and fellow Instrument’s Trade Show managers to establish a standard operating process.Lead a collaborative, trade show planning and execution process for divisional Tier 4 trade shows, including: understanding business needs and priorities; Developing and managing a comprehensive event project plan for all tasks, product needs, and other details; Creating pre-show briefing documents; Manage onsite logistics as required, including booth set up and tear down; Track key metrics and meeting leads for shows.Execute shows and experiences within established budget and ensure timely and accurate processing of planning expenses.Coordinate activity budgets and related expenses for your shows.Onsite show support as assigned, including set up and tear downServe as a brand steward, adhering to and promoting Stryker’s brand guidelines, specifically the trade show guidelinesAssist in event planning, execution and facilitation, as needed, for all other Customer and Employee Engagement functions (Internal Meetings and Events, Employee Engagement, Customer Engagement)What you need (required):

*$58,700 - $106,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.*
