**Business Unit:** Pearson – Test Preparation
**Location:** Telangana (Hyderabad-based; extensive travel)
**Role Summary:**
Drive growth of Pearson’s Test Preparation portfolio across K12 Schools, Junior Colleges, and Coaching Institutes in Telangana, covering Foundation (Grades 6–10), JEE, NEET, UPSC, and UGC segments. The role focuses on institutional sales, academic engagement, and long-term partnership development.
**Key Responsibilities & Core Competencies**
+ Generate institutional business by engaging schools, junior colleges, and coaching centers through structured territory planning and pipeline creation.
+ Build strong relationships with KDMs (Management, Principals, Directors, Academic Heads) and faculties to drive product adoption, renewals, and repeat orders.
+ Present, position, and negotiate Pearson Test Prep solutions using strong institutional selling and relationship management skills.
+ Achieve assigned revenue, adoption, and collection targets in a competitive market environment.
+ Understand and counter institution-level competition, using market intelligence to win adoptions and grow share.
+ Leverage sound knowledge of Foundation, JEE, NEET, UPSC, and UGC ecosystems to influence academic and business decisions.
+ Identify growth opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to the overall expansion of the Test Preparation segment in Telangana.
+ Demonstrate high ownership, self-motivation, and willingness to travel extensively to meet business objectives.
**Eligibility**
+ MBA with 3+ years of relevant experience OR Graduate with 7+ years of relevant experience
+ Prior experience in Test Preparation Publishing or K12 Academic Publishing with strong institutional sales exposure preferred.
+ Having knowledge of Test Preparation Selling in Telangana Market.
