Specialist, Procurement Operations **Date:** Jul 8, 2025 **Location:** Taichung, TW, 407 **Company:** Corning **Role Purpose** Purpose of the Position: + Well purchasing strategy to fulfill business need and support cost reduction program. + Assure all kinds of goods and services supply w/o supply disruption and ensure the delivery at the right time, right quality, right quantity. + Manage execution on SRM including supplier management and risk management. **Key Responsibilities** Day to Day Responsibilities: + Ensure material, parts and service supply at the right time, right quantity, right quality with reasonable cost and support the business target. + Follow GSM’s strategies and plans to purchase products or services, aligned with organizational objectives and sourcing strategies. + Assist with supplier Relationship management process including supplier audit and performance evaluation and development. + Ensure to comply with global buying policy, SOP and local regulation. + Category spending management and drive cost reduction opportunities through well collaboration with business stakeholder and suppliers. + Manage contractual documents (Supply Agreement, Pricing Agreement, PO, NDA, COI) + Assist with commodity review and supply intelligence. + Streamline operation process to improve operation efficiency. + Other cross-functional supporting tasks that requested by supervisor. **Required Skills** Required Skills: + Must be knowledgeable of supply management. + Good problem-solving capability. + Well communication skills, including experience clarifying information in a friendly and positive manner. + Ability to establish priorities, multitask, work independently. **Desired Skills** Desired Skills: + Engineering background or related experience is desirable. + Willingness to take challenges.
