The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Finance team:
The following position is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our RTX Corporate, Financial Reporting & Consolidations team. We are looking for a Specialist, Financial Reporting & Consolidations (FR&C), who will be critical in the preparation of RTX’s external financial reporting documents including Forms 10-Q/K and accompanying earnings release documents. This role will report to the Senior Manager, FR&C and will be a key member of the RTX Controllers team with frequent interaction with the various businesses and functions across the company, including Investor Relations, Legal, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, and Treasury, as well as great visibility to and interaction with the RTX Corporate Controller.
What You Will do:
Assist with the quarterly consolidation of RTX financial results in OneStreamSupport the timeliness and accuracy of filing the Form 10-K and 10-Q, including review of financial statements and footnotes prepared by teamSupport the earning release process and other external communications through partnering with Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Legal, and various other business partners to prepare or review external communications and presentation materialsPrepare the quarterly CFO package which is presented to the RTX CFO, VP, Controller, VP, Investor Relations and Executive Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.Review segment financial submissions and analytical deliverables to validate completeness and accuracy of the reported results. Work closely with the segments and the financial planning team to resolve any issuesWork with the Corporate and segment financial systems team to support and implement changes to our financial reporting systemsSupport the use of CORE process improvement tools to evaluate and improve processesAssist with the implementation of new accounting standards and document assessment and conclusions in adoption memoAssist/lead ad-hoc projects as needed (ie. accounting research, debt offerings, reorganizations, etc.)Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experienceU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirementsAt least 3 years experience preparing, reviewing, or analyzing financial statementsAt least 3 years experience with US GAAP Accounting, and the ability to apply US GAAP to a variety of circumstancesQualifications We Prefer:
Strong communication skills (verbal and written), business acumen, and ability to engage with all management levels, independently or in a team.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Workiva (SEC reporting tool).Experience with enterprise finance/accounting systems (e.g., OneStream) and month-end close procedures.Knowledge of US GAAP, SEC requirements, and XBRL, with prior public accounting experience.Strong analytical, planning, organizational, teambuilding, and interpersonal skills, maintaining professionalism in sensitive situations.What We Offer:

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
