Job Title: Billing Engineer

Location: Kopar khairne , Mumbai, India

Job Summary: JLL is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Engineer Billing for our Data Center construction project in Navi Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient billing on a regular basis for various packages within the project. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of construction billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the billing process for multiple construction packages within the project.

Prepare and review detailed billing statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.

Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to collect necessary documentation for billing.

Verify work progress and quantities against submitted bills and approved drawings.

Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues with relevant stakeholders.

Maintain up-to-date records of all billing activities, including change orders and variations.

Generate regular billing reports and analyses for project management and clients.

Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual agreements, and relevant financial regulations.

Assist in cash flow forecasting and budget tracking related to billing activities.

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure proper accounting of billed amounts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.

6-8 years of experience in construction billing, preferably in mixed-use development projects.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, terminologies, and billing practices.

Proficiency in billing software, MS Excel, and other relevant tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with similar mixed-use development projects in the Mumbai area.

Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.

Knowledge of contract administration and quantity surveying.

Professional certifications related to construction management or quantity surveying.
