About the Role
Lenovo launches several multi-million-dollar co-marketing campaigns each quarter in partnership with leading technology companies, including Microsoft, Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm. As part of Lenovo’s North America Marketing organization, the Marketing Operations Sr. Specialist (POE Manager) plays a critical role in ensuring governance, compliance, and operational excellence for these campaigns.
This position combines marketing operations expertise, financial accountability, and program execution to ensure Lenovo receives full reimbursement from alliance partners while also driving process improvements that strengthen the marketing organization's effectiveness. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, bringing a balance of detail orientation, analytical thinking, and creativity to both operational tasks and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Alliance Partner Governance & Compliance
Manage the full lifecycle of alliance partner activity claims, including submission, review, and timely completion.Gather and validate Proof of Execution (POE) documentation from NA Marketing stakeholders in alignment with partner requirements and deadlines.Coordinate with Worldwide Alliance Operations and internal alliance teams to ensure that all eligible activities are properly captured, claimed, and reimbursed.Operational Excellence & Process Management
Standardize, document, and improve processes to ensure compliance and efficiency across co-marketing operations.Support the deployment and adoption of marketing tools, systems, and infrastructure that enable better tracking, reporting, and cross-functional alignment.Execute established policies and procedures while identifying opportunities for refinement and optimization.Analytics, Reporting & Financial Stewardship
Track, analyze, and report on claims, reimbursements, and fund utilization, providing visibility to key stakeholders.Monitor timeliness KPIs and escalate risks proactively to safeguard funding.Contribute to financial planning and administration for co-marketing activities, ensuring all fund-related challenges are resolved.Collaboration & Community Engagement
Partner closely with marketing teams, agencies, and other internal stakeholders to align operational processes with strategic objectives.Support communication, knowledge-sharing, and training initiatives that strengthen the marketing operations community.Provide day-to-day guidance and problem-solving support on operational questions, helping elevate standards across the team.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.4+ years of marketing operations, program management, or project management experience.Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver against multiple deadlines.Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including comfort with financial processes and reporting.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.A collaborative team player who is resourceful, adaptable, and self-motivated.English fluency required.Preferred Qualifications:
