**Req ID:** RQ203011 **Type of Requisition:** Regular **Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain:** Top Secret SCI + Polygraph **Public Trust/Other Required:** None **Job Family:** Security **Skills:** Security Information,Security Practices,Security System **Experience:** 8 + years of related experience **US Citizenship Required:** Yes **Job Description:** Special Security Technician (Information) Our work depends on a Mid-level Special Security Technician (Information), to serve in support of defense analytical and administrative requirements for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC). **HOW A MID-LEVEL SPECIAL SECURITY TECHNICIAN (INFORMATION) WILL MAKE AN IMPACT** + Brief and train proper command security practices for the Command Security Indoctrination briefings to promote Security, Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA). + Update local security publications as required, consistent with DoD/DIA guidance. + Provide input into USCENTCOM history reports and maintain the SSO webpage. + Inspect and draft written feedback in support of the Command Inspection Program. + Coordinate, track, document, brief, train, and issue courier authorization. + Coordinate with customers and Defense Courier Service staff for the delivery/pickup of classified material and provide SME guidance for forward deployed units. + Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities that affect remedial training in support of the Security Incident Program. + Coordinate and support the command Annual/Hurricane Clean Out Program, the Wearable Fitness Device (WFD) Program, the Random Anti-terrorism Measures (RAM) Program, and other security related programs for USCENTCOM. + Support the Information Security Working Group and Tasker Management Program. **WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:** + Security Clearance Level: TS / SCI, with polygraph eligibility. + US Citizenship Required + **Desired Education / Experience:** Bachelor’s Degree with 8 yrs experience with at least a portion of the experience in the last 2 yrs. + **Required:** Obtain the DoD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within 2 years and recertify as required. + **Preferred:** USCENTCOM experience. **GDIT IS YOUR PLACE** + Location: On Customer Site + 401K with company match + Comprehensive health and wellness packages + Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career + Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications + Cutting-edge technology you can learn from + Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holiday The likely salary range for this position is $89,250 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
