**WHAT YOU WILL DO:**
+ Effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new accounts.
+ Work within FDA and USDA food processing and manufacturing facilities and be available during various production shifts depending on our customer base.
+ Provide and keep track of written service reports.
+ Generate new leads and profitable business opportunities with both external and internal business partners and converting to clients through following up by phone, email, and personal visits.
+ Establish strategic and collaborative partnerships within our accounts.
+ Identify customer needs/pain points and then work internally to apply the applicable Safe Foods product(s) solutions to create value-added benefits for the customer.
+ Give sales presentations, perform application training, troubleshoot equipment, and train customers on the correct SOP for their processes.
+ Supervise a team to achieve stated goals and serve our customers with excellence within special projects or processes.
+ Responsible for sales growth and development of these areas along with maintaining current customers by solving problems, applying performance modifications, and keeping up with our service standards.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**YOUR MUST HAVES:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older.
+ High School Graduate or General Education Degree (“GED”).
+ Proficient computer skills associated with Microsoft Office and basic skills required to learn new programs.
+ A valid driver’s license.
**WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in related field
+ Work experience or education in Food & RTE Processing Operations, Quality Assurance, or Sanitation.
+ Previous sales experience in the Food, Beverage, Dairy, and RTE industry.
+ Excellent time management skills.
+ Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
+ Strong communication skills (oral and written).
+ Adaptability & flexibility - can change plans in the moment and make tactical adjustments appropriately.
+ Remains calm and confident even in stressful situations.
**OUR ENVIRONMENT:**
This position is based in our manufacturing plant environment. Expected exposure to wet, hot, cold, various shifts, requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Constant (role requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day)
Use of fingers and hands. Lift/Carry 10 lbs or less & push/pull 12 lbs or less.
Frequently (role requires this activity from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs/day)
Stand, climb stairs, walk, sit, reach outward, squat/kneel, bend. Lift/Carry 11-50 lbs & push/pull 13-40 lbs.
Occasional (role requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 - 2.5+ hrs/day)
Climb & crawl. Lift/Carry 51+ lbs & push/pull 41-100 lbs.
