Join our team and experience the support, flexibility, and benefits that help you thrive both professionally and personally. * Overview Position Overview: The Special Projects Associate supports the resort's mission to provide an exceptional guest experience by maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal of all resort spaces — both indoors and outdoors. This position involves regular property walkthroughs, detail-focused cleaning, and proactive communication to report maintenance issues. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, observant, and takes pride in keeping the resort pristine and welcoming at all times. Key Responsibilities: Exterior Maintenance Perform regular power washing of decks, walkways, pool areas, patios, and other exterior surfaces. Clean balconies, railings, building exteriors, eaves, and gutters as scheduled or directed. Remove cobwebs from outdoor structures, overhangs, and fixtures. Grounds Patrol & Cleanliness Conduct frequent walkthroughs of the resort grounds to identify and remove trash, debris, or hazards. Ensure outdoor and shared spaces are guest-ready and maintained to the highest standard. Interior Maintenance & Detail Cleaning Walk all indoor hallways, stairwells, and public areas, maintaining cleanliness and identifying potential issues. Perform window cleaning (interior and accessible exterior panes), including glass doors and entryways. Regularly dust surfaces, clean light fixtures, and remove cobwebs from ceilings, corners, and hard-to-reach areas. Issue Identification & Reporting Spot and report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues (e.g., broken fixtures, water leaks, pest activity). Submit detailed reports with photographs using resort reporting systems or mobile apps to notify appropriate departments. Special Projects & Support Assist with seasonal cleaning tasks, setup and teardown for outdoor events, storm prep/cleanup, and other ad hoc assignments. Coordinate with facilities, housekeeping, and landscaping teams to support ongoing resort improvement projects. Work Environment: Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather and conditions (heat, humidity, rain, etc.). Frequent movement, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting required. Safety gear, tools, and uniform provided. Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings, based on resort needs. Qualifications Qualifications: Previous experience in facilities, custodial, or general maintenance preferred. Knowledge of or willingness to learn power washing equipment and safe cleaning practices. Physically capable of walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently. Comfortable using mobile devices/apps to report issues and submit photo documentation. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $16.00/Yr. - $18.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
