Special Operations Project Manager

This role sits within the UK Special Operations team, a cross-functional team responsible for driving co-ordinated understanding of, and solutions for, our most exciting opportunities and pressing problems. These include growth projects, like launching new verticals within the business, or operational improvements, such as reducing labour time per box or reducing food waste. The role will work across all aspects of operations from menu planning, to inbound logistics, production, and on to the final customer experience.

What You Will Be Doing:

Our business and operations are constantly changing, so adaptability is important and you will work with stakeholders and data platforms to understand changes in the operating environment and their dependencies on our operation to help ensure a culture of data driven continuous improvement is delivered. Gather best practice from International HelloFresh geographies as well as external organisations to develop project plans that can be implemented within the UK operation. We’re looking for a strongly quantitative, practical problem solver to take the lead and ownership on resolving key strategic issues for our business. Seeking out opportunities within the business and model the impact on all departments to understand all the potential gains and losses.

Who You Are:

Excellent project management competencies including a proven track record of successful operational transformation projects. Strong analytical skills including the ability to summarise quantitative concepts into a digestible format. Strong excel skills are essential with SQL and Python being advantageous. Excellent ability to influence key stakeholders, work cross-functionally and autonomously. Ability to manage priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills, taking ownership for business problems, and using data to create lasting solutions. Experience of working with data visualization tools (ideally Tableau). Experience working in an Agile environment. High level of professional experience in a high performance and culture environment (consulting would be ideal but not essential). Strong experience of working in an operational role in a retail / consumer goods / logistics business – ideally in Supply chain, Production, Manufacturing. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
