+ Intermediate School
Schedule
+ ELC: 8:35 AM – 3:00 PM
+ Intermediate School: 7:40 AM – 2:05 PM
About the Roles
Early Learning Center:
+ Grades 1–2 (ages 6–9)
+ Inclusion classroom
+ Approximately 12 students
Intermediate School:
+ Mixed grades 4–7
+ Between 9–11 students per classroom
Educators will be responsible for providing specialized instruction, supporting accommodations and modifications, collaborating with general education staff, and fostering an inclusive learning environment aligned with student IEPs.
Requirements
+ MA DESE Moderate or Severe Disabilities Licensure
+ OR equivalent licensure in Connecticut or Rhode Island
+ Must meet district onboarding requirements: School CORI and Fingerprinting
Minimum Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
+ Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
+ Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
+ State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
+ Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
