Position Overview:

(2) Special Education Teacher positions are available for the upcoming school year. K-8 Special Education Teacher Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for K-8 students, monitoring student progress, and make evidence-based instructional decisions focused on student-centered goals and academic growth. Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities, fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. High School Special Education Teacher Develop and implement IEPs, focusing on academic achievement, transition planning, and the development of functional/vocational skills to prepare them for post-secondary success. Partner with a multidisciplinary team to provide a well-rounded education that incorporates diversity, family, and community partnerships. 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Valid MI Special Education Certification [Required] Prior experience in a school setting (Preferred) Full-time schedule of 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with dedicated staff meetings on Wednesdays until approximately 5:00-5:40 PM
