Position Overview: 

The Special Education Teacher collaborates with staff and parents to develop and support a balanced curriculum for students in grades K-8 within a resource-based transition classroom. Perform assessments to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address students' academic needs while promoting social-emotional growth and classroom readiness for general education. Actively monitor and manage student behavior, quickly addressing safety issues and responding to emergencies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Required) Master's Degree (Preferred) Arizona Special Education Credential IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
