Special Education Teacher (K–2 Behavioral Program) Pay Rate: $50/hr Hours: 37.5–40 per week Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 School Year Location: Litchfield Park, AZ Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality educational services to students in a self-contained behavioral program for grades K–2. This role focuses on individualized instruction, collaboration with general education staff, and supporting students’ academic and behavioral growth in a structured environment. Responsibilities: + Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ IEP goals. + Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers. + Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal regulations. + Provide consultation and support to staff regarding behavioral strategies and interventions. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred). + Valid state teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement (LBS1 preferred). + Minimum of one year teaching experience (preferred). + Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements. + Current CPR certification and health clearance (as applicable). Additional Requirements: + Must be at least 18 years of age. + TB screening and health certificate per state regulations.
