Special Education Teacher – Aurora, CO Pay Rate: $50–$55 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (37.5 hours/week) Contract Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 School Year Modality: In-person Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality educational services to students in grades K–12. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement individualized programs, including specialized instruction, tutorial assistance, and consultation with general education staff. Responsibilities + Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students’ individual education plans (IEPs). + Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive learning environments. + Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. + Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development. Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred). + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations. + Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred). + Special Education certification or endorsement (preferred). + Current CPR certification (if applicable). + Ability to meet all health and safety requirements (TB test, health certificate, etc.). + Must be at least 18 years of age.
