Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs and creating an inclusive educational environment.

Duties

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs Utilize behavioral therapy techniques to support students' social and emotional development Create engaging lesson plans tailored to students' abilities and learning styles Manage classroom dynamics and promote a positive learning environment Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support student progress Provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of each student Implement behavior management strategies effectively

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field State certification in Special Education Experience working with children with special needs, including behavioral health challenges Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning Strong classroom management skills Familiarity with early childhood education principles Experience in deaf education is a plus Ability to provide care and support for toddlers in an educational setting
