Schedule: Full-Time | 37.5 Hours/Week
Contract Length: 960 Hours (Temp-to-Perm)

About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers (Grade 12) to join a fully SPED-focused school environment committed to providing individualized instruction and strong behavioral support. As part of a collaborative team, you will contribute to planning and implementing student programs, including specialized instruction, tutoring, and consultation with general education staff.
Key Responsibilities
+ Deliver specialized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP.
+ Collaborate with fellow teachers, aides, and support teams on program planning.
+ Provide tutorial assistance and consult regularly with general education staff.
+ Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
+ Uphold all professional standards of practice.
+ Participate in required orientation and training sessions.
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred).
+ Valid Maryland teaching certificate (active, in-progress, or expired with eligibility to activate).
+ School can assist with activation.
+ Minimum 1 year teaching experience (preferred).
+ Certifications preferred:
+ Standard Elementary Teaching
+ Standard Secondary Teaching
+ Standard Special Teaching
+ LBS1 Endorsement
+ Current CPR (if applicable)
+ TB test or chest X-ray (if applicable)
