Special Education Teacher
Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate) Location: Riverside, CA Start Date: ASAP – End of School Year Contract Length: Remainder of the school year Schedule: School hours, Monday–Friday Hours per Week: 37.5 Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide quality services to students in grades K–12 under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator. This role requires collaboration with general education staff and participation in planning and implementing individualized student programs, including specialized instruction and tutorial assistance. Key Responsibilities + Deliver instruction and support to students with mild/moderate disabilities. + Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). + Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to ensure student success. + Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations. Minimum Requirements + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred). + Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential – Mild/Moderate. + Minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience. + Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance. + Current CPR certification (if applicable). + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable). + Current health certificate (per state or contract regulations). + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements. + Must be at least 18 years of age.
