As we continue to grow our team at BOOST, we are seeking an innovative and compassionate educator who is eager to help build a new and creative approach to educating students with mobility challenges. The ideal candidate will focus on empowering students to realize their potential, fostering their independence, and supporting their unique needs in the classroom. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team, co-teaching with the mobility specialist and therapist to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment. You will be an integral part of our mission to provide individualized, student-centered education that promotes both academic and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: Individualized Small Group Instruction: Provide tailored instruction to students in small group settings, ensuring that teaching strategies and materials meet their individual learning needs and abilities. IEP Implementation: Develop, implement, and monitor student goals outlined in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) while working closely with the team to track progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed. Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with the mobility specialist, therapist, and other staff members to deliver a coordinated approach to education that supports students' physical and educational development. Supervision and Guidance: Oversee and guide classroom assistants, ensuring they are equipped to provide effective support to students in alignment with educational goals. Positive Relationships with Students and Families: Build strong, positive relationships with students, providing a nurturing and supportive environment, and maintain open communication with families to ensure their involvement in the educational process.
