Modality: Special Education Teacher (LBS1) Certification: LBS1 required (checking ifSPED-specific SUB experience may be accepted) Grade Level: 6th–8th Caseload: Self-contained classroom for students on the autism spectrum(structured learning environment) Classroom Support: 2 paraprofessionals Start Date: January 9, 2026 (or as close as possible) End Date: April 9, 2026 Schedule: + Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri: 8:15 AM – 3:35 PM + Wed: 8:15 AM – 4:00 PM Breaks: 30 minutes unpaid Local Pay Rate: $50/HR Interview: Virtual (with Carole Jennings and admin team) About the Role Amergis is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacherto provide instruction and support for middle school students on the autismspectrum in a self-contained classroom. This role involves structured learning,collaboration with paraprofessionals, and individualized planning to ensurestudent success.
