Special Education Teacher
Position Title: Special Education Teacher (K–12) Start Date: November 3, 2025 Duration: 39 weeks Work Hours: 35 hours/week Work Setting: In-person only Licensure Status: Licensed or Non-Licensed (see details below) Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality educational services to students in grades K–12. Under the supervision of the Special Education Program Administrator, the teacher will support students through individualized instruction, tutorial assistance, and collaboration with general education staff to implement effective student programs. Key Responsibilities: + Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs + Participate in team planning and implementation of IEPs + Provide consultation and support to general education staff + Maintain compliance with all professional standards and district policies Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred) + Valid state teaching certificate (required by state/district regulations) + Minimum one year of teaching experience (preferred) Licensure Flexibility: + Licensed candidates are highly preferred + Non-licensed candidates must be willing to obtain a provisional license and enroll in a certification program Why Join Us?
