Special Education Teacher

Position Overview: 

Provide instruction and case management for middle/high school students with cognitive or behavioral challenges in a self-contained/life skills setting, supported by paraprofessionals. Familiarity with core academic subjects and the ability to effectively document services and student progress. Collaborate closely with the Special Education team to ensure comprehensive support for all students.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Must obtain and maintain a valid TX Fingerprint Clearance Card TX Special Education Certification that covers assigned grade levels and Content Area/Generalist Certification for grades 6+ TX Teaching Certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned (Preferred) Demonstrate competency in the assigned core academic subject area and, for grades 6+ (1) year of successful K-12 Special Education teaching experience (Preferred)
