Special Education Teacher
Salary: $2000 / Week The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of theSpecial Education Program Administrator provides quality services to specialeducation students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has acommitment to team participation in planning and implementation of studentprograms including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultationwith general education staff. Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited universitypreferred + Valid state teaching certificate as required by state,contract/district regulations + Minimum of one year experience in teaching environmentpreferred + State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard ElementaryTeaching preferred + State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard SecondaryTeaching preferred + State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teachingpreferred + Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred + Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Spokane Modality SPED Teacher School District Location Working at the Spokane location 8621 N 5 Mile Rd. Spokane, WA 99208 Local Pay Rate $50/hr Bill Rate $80 Start Date ASAP Start Length of Contract 13 weeks with potential buy out Shift M-F In-Person or Virtual? In-Person required Hours/Week? 40 Submission Requirements/ MINIMUM experience required to submit Resume + WA SPED Endorsement A detailed paragraph of their experience and if they are comfortable with physical restraints and working with older kids will be needed too. Previous experience working specifically with 8th-12th grade REQUIRED on resume! Position Details This location is a behavioral clinic type setting.
