Special Education Teacher – Marion, OH Pay Rate: $50 per hour Hours per Week: 32.5 Assignment Duration: ASAP through End of School Year Schedule: Daytime, Monday–Friday Position Overview Amergis is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instructional support for individuals with diverse learning needs in the Marion, Ohio area. This role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the current school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality instruction, maintaining compliance with individualized plans, and supporting learners in achieving their goals. Responsibilities + Deliver specialized instruction in alignment with each learner’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). + Create and modify lesson plans and instructional materials based on individual goals and needs. + Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals and caregivers to support progress and ensure consistent implementation of IEP objectives. + Participate in IEP meetings, conduct progress monitoring, and complete required documentation. + Maintain accurate records and adhere to applicable guidelines and standards. + Provide a structured, positive, and supportive learning environment. Qualifications + Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher license. + Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. + Strong communication, organization, adaptability, and collaboration skills. + Ability to tailor instruction and support based on individual needs.
