Special Education Teacher – $54/hr (Local) or $2,288/week (Travel) – Colorado Springs, CO – Full-Time
Position Overview:
We are hiring Special Education Teachers to provide services for students in elementary and high school settings, ranging from mild to severe needs. This role includes planning and implementing individualized programs, providing special instruction, and collaborating with general education staff.
Assignment Details:
+ Location: Colorado Springs, CO
+ Start Date: August 2025
+ End Date: End of 25/26 School Year
+ Schedule: Monday–Friday | 37.5 hrs/week (student contact hours)
+ Modality: In-person
+ Pay Rate: $54/hr (local) or $2,288/week (travel package) | W2 position with full benefits
+ Openings: Multiple
+ Part-time opportunities available
Responsibilities:
+ Provide individualized instruction and tutorial assistance
+ Collaborate with general education staff
+ Maintain compliance with all professional standards
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
+ Valid Colorado Teaching License with Special Education Generalist Endorsement
+ Current CPR certification
+ Health clearance and TB screening
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
