Collaborates with other authorities on activities such as surveillance, transcription, and research. Conducts background investigations. Conducts internal investigations of law enforcement agencies. Examine records to locate links in chains of evidence or information. Obtains and verifies evidence by interviewing and observing suspects and witnesses, or by analyzing records. Obtains information related to cases. Prepare reports that detail investigation findings. Train to identify case issues and evidence needed. Utilize proper software programs to store, collate and review financial information and evidence. Performs other duties as signed.
