Special Access Program (SAP) Activity Security Manager
Location: Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia Company: Leidos – National Security Sector
Clearance Required: Current TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to pass a polygraph after hiring
Position Overview
Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Special Access Program (SAP) Activity Security Manager (ASM) to support a major Military Intelligence Program aligned with the USAF Air Combat Command Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. This role supports Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) operations and requires a security professional with deep experience in SAP environments and a proactive approach to risk management and collaboration.
Primary Responsibilities
The SAP ASM will work closely with Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO) personnel to enforce and manage all aspects of SAP-driven security protocols. Key duties include:
Develop and maintain the Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) programConduct incident management and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategiesCoordinate with OPSEC, SSO, AFOSI, and DCO teams to maintain threat awareness and apply countermeasuresEnsure effective collaboration between ISSO and GSSOPotential appointment as a GSSO upon successful training completionConduct and oversee self-inspections and full-scope inspections of subordinate units every two yearsLead efforts to create and sustain a National Exploitation Team (NET) SAP Information Protection ProgramProvide oversight to ASMs, TSCOs, and security assistants to ensure efficient information security administrationEnsure proper reporting and investigation of security incidents, including those involving Foreign Government Information (FGI)Maintain SOPs, personnel rosters, program billets, and justificationsConduct daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual SAP ASM security checksOperate independently and collaboratively to enhance SAP ASM program elementsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of relevant experience in SAP, personnel security physical security, or cyber security. Additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeCurrent TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to pass a polygraph after hiring.Ability to acquire Security+ certification within 6 months of start datePrior SAP experienceWillingness to participate in a polygraph interview.Must possess or be eligible to obtain a U.S. PassportAbility to acquire/maintain SAP, STO, and/or ACCM qualificationsPreferred Qualifications

Pay Range:Pay Range $63,700.00 - $115,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
