Job Description Summary

The Spatial Data Administrator uses CAD and other design/space technology software to provide support to Project Management, Occupancy Planning and Move Managers. Holds responsibility to ensure all current drawings and systems are maintained, relevant space reports are generated on a regular basis and serves as the central point of contact regarding the space technology solution within a client environment. Solid understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with construction and furniture terminology required. Expertise in CAD/CAFM and the methodologies and calculations used to generate and analyze allocation models critical.

Principle Responsibilities:

Develops designs using computer-assisted design/drafting (e.g., CAD) equipment and softwareEstablishes and maintains an organized file system for As-Built DrawingsConverts existing construction drawings to computer-aided design/drafting softwareCommunicates with Project Management, Space Planning and Move Management for CAD needsGenerates needed reports and analysis on SpaceManages and reports space allocation data, including business presence and archivingProactively monitors space allocation data and changesProvides allocation data in accordance with client Space Allocation Process

Requirements:

BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in Architectural Technology, Space Planning, Space Data Management, Data Analytics or Occupancy PlanningFour to Eight years experience in a corporate real estate environment.Establish core program standards for global space naming conventions, allocation model application, drawing standards and reporting standardsEstablish working relationships and guides the development of roles and responsibilities with partnersEstablish governance program and data quality assurance reporting for global consistency of portfolio space and occupancy dataProactively monitor the execution of the client space allocation model and delivery of reporting in accordance with client space allocation processServes as SPOC and global system administrator for client space data management system, enforcing user controls and system continuityEnable all system integration efforts with the CAFM system to further enhance the availability and quality of spatial and occupancy dataRecommend process improvements and performance enhancements in the use of the client space data management systemProvides space data management system training for system usersResponsible for guiding and reviewing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and innovative service advancements for all functional areasCoach the space team leadership in effective space planning and FF&E solution development, ensuring compliance with established process workflows and consistent service delivery for all project types

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $ 106,250.00 - $125,000.00
