Spain Control & Reporting Analyst

Your mission: In this role you will be responsible for ensuring an accurate, timely and completely reporting process to Sector in compliance with PepsiCo Policy for anything that is related to Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and HFM Reporting requirements to Sector Financial Reporting Team. On the execution of its work is accountable for ensuring a timely reporting process as well as monitoring Local Tax and Statutory compliance. Furthermore, the role is responsible of ensuring that all the activities are performed aligned with Pepsico Global Control Standards. Additionally, the role will be also in charge of participating in SAP PIRT transformational project, providing solutions and ensuring the integrity in the financial statements, controlling and minimizing the risks for the business. The role includes both Beverages and Foods business activities in Spain. Responsibilities Your day to day with us: Ensure compliance and accuracy in accounting, analysis, and reporting according to US GAAP, local standards, PepsiCo Financial Policies, SwissCo and PGCS models. Review and deliver HFM monthly reporting aligned with Sector calendar, ensuring timeliness and high quality. Manage accounting for special transactions including dividends, cash mobilizations, equity injections, and entity mergers. Lead Operating Cash Flow analysis, including cause of change, AOP, P9F elaboration, and monthly outlook follow-up. Coordinate and perform Quarterly Balance Sheet Reviews, driving reconciliation, risk identification, and opportunity analysis. Oversee dual ledger accounting (US GAAP vs SP GAAP), ensuring proper reconciliation and CTA valuation for USD legal entities. Support audits and statutory requirements, providing documentation, transaction clarification, and fulfilling CBCR obligations. Contribute to SAP PIRT transformation, ensuring financial statement integrity and minimizing business risks through active stakeholder collaboration. Qualifications What will you need to succeed? • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; English Fluent • Control experience. Minimum of 3 years of financial and analytical experience . Previous experience on financial audit specially appreciated. • High technical accounting both in US GAAP and Spanish GAAP; SAP and HFM expertise • Financial understanding in foods/beverages consumer goods industries • Skilled in Microsoft Office and digital tools with proven solid level in Excel. • Organizational capacity, planning and time management: “Focus and get things done fast” • Interpersonal skills and ability for effectively collaborate and work with several and diverse teams. • Analytical skills and able to focus on the details and accuracy of the reporting data; Agile and continuous improvement mindset; What makes us different?
