What You'll Do

Activities may vary depending on the individuals supported and the existing workload, and support assignments may change at any time. 

 

Provide high-level executive support for assigned partners and other BCG departments as required:

 


Agenda and travel coordination

Maintain Partner’s calendar; schedule, coordinate and confirm appointments, interviews and meetings, anticipating problems in advanceMake complicated travel arrangements

 

Communication

Answer and screen telephone calls and take messagesType correspondence, proposals, reports and other documentsEstablish and maintain necessary filing systems for assigned PartnersClient contacts over phone and e-mailSetting up meetingsStatus follow-upBuilding relationshipsMaintain client- and other mailing lists in close coordination with the Marketing departmentContacts with outside vendors as appropriate, being able to negociate prices and proposing best options

 

Organize and attend meetings and conferences as appropriate

Scheduling participantsBooking meeting roomsArranging for special equipment and meeting room set-upOrdering and setting up beverages and/or mealsCapable of organizing the event from beginning to end with the support of local departments involved

 

Budget and invoice assistance

Assist with invoices and billingAssist with budget tracking and other financial follow-up


Team contribution

Coordinate and cooperate with other EAs to ensure that work is completed to highest standard and qualitySupport and back up other members of the EA teamMentor and support new members of the EA teamInteraction with other functions within own local office, as well as the larger BCG community

 

Participate in internal projects and committees as assigned or requested


Will help partners in personal administrative work/logistics if requested



What You'll Bring

Basic Job Requirements:

Fluent English and Spanish, both oral and written. Other languages will be valued.University degree completed.Preferably graduated from a Secretary School.Willingness to learn and grow in a multinational, professional services environment.Strong organizational skills and affinity with IT supporting tools.Good knowledge in PowerPoint and Excel; good knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs.Ability to combine a hands-on attitude with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Interest in learning BCG systems and processes.

Who You'll Work With

Working as part of a team, provide high-level executive and general office support in a demanding, fast-paced professional services environment. The primary goals are to leverage the Partners’ time, support the broader team, and successfully serve BCG’s clients.



Additional info

Spanish University degree (completed). Must hold university degree, vocational training certificate, or equivalent, and provide a photocopy No more than 3 years since obtaining the degree (5 years for candidates with disabilities). For foreign degrees, the period starts from the date of recognition in Spain. Cannot have worked under a training contract (convenio) in the company for more than 3 months, except for required curricular internships Must not have worked under an internship contract for over 1 year at any company (work history required). Must hold a valid work permit for the entire internship period.
