Key Responsibilities:
KBR is seeking a highly motivated Program Analyst familiar with national security space systems to join our team at the Pentagon. The Space Control Programs Analyst will support the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration (SAF/SQ).
The position primarily involves helping the Assistant Secretary provide direction, guidance, and supervision over all matters pertaining to the formulation, review, approval, and execution of selected Special Access Program acquisition plans, policies, and programs.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team focused on modernizing key capabilities and integrating them into our National Security Space Enterprise Architecture. Working independently, or as part of a team, the Programs Analyst will:
Analyzes acquisition programs delivering direct or enabling capabilities for Space Combat Power, developing a thorough understanding of capability development cost, schedule and performance
Develop and maintain awareness of space combat power programs, associated ground infrastructures, and related command and control systems across the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community
Analyze proposed program changes and determine how these changes could impact or aid other programs, future operations, and overall National Security Space architecture;
Prepare and deliver executive level briefings, reports, and summary papers; explain complex concepts in relatively simple language; summarize key decisions; and provide recommendations supported by analysis;
Review and provide recommendations for improving draft policies, instructions, and guidance memoranda
Participate in working groups, and integrated process teams as required.

Qualifications:
Required:
Must have an active TS/SCI security clearance to be considered for the position
Bachelor’s Degree and 20 years of relevant work experience including but not limited to space operations, program management, technology development or systems engineering (Experience in lieu of a degree or a degree in lieu of experience may be permitted subject to customer approval)
Excellent organizations skills; ability to plan, track, and maintain due dates for multiple projects and products central to the organization’s business processes
Experience communicating effectively and concisely using a variety of styles and techniques appropriate to the audience
Ability to work collaboratively with personnel at all levels of the customer organization to deliver results; strong networking, interpersonal, and customer service skills are key
Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with persons working across a broad array of National Security and Space organizations
Desired:
Expert knowledge of the space control mission area, with emphasis on integrated Command & Control (C2)
5 or more years of work experience in special access programs • Thorough familiarity with National, DoD, and Department of the Air Force policies relevant to space operations
Masters Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., science, technology, engineering) • Exemplary writing and editing skills
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing work environments while maintaining focus on accomplishing the mission
Experience working on a military headquarters staff or a comparable organization

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
