JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of the Shelf Management Imp. Merch is to assist the Shelf Management team in the implementation of schematics for Northgate Markets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in store resets. Assist in new store and remerchandising layouts. Implement schematics. Responsible for tags for new store/remodels and resets Train/Manage Tienda perfecta team when Field Manager is not available. Execute test sets in a practice room. Train Northgate merchandisers and department managers on schematic access process Perform any other work-related duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS AND CONDITIONS:
Education/Experience/Skills
Minimum educational requirement is a high school education with a college background helpful and preferred (but not absolutely required). Should have at least three years experience in the supermarket industry. Computer literate including Apollo, Word, and Excel. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language (Spanish is helpful but not required). Ability to compose and write reports and business correspondence. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations. Ability to adapt to changing demands, priorities, circumstances, and directions. Ability to effectively respond to customer needs. Be able to pass a standard drug test and qualify as being drug free under the legal and medical guidelines permitted by the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.Physical Demands and Conditions
