THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE 

 

As the spa therapist, it is to deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner, maintaining equipment and sample inventory of products, acknowledging and responding to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable mannerMaintain equipment and sample inventory of productsKeep documentation and maintain clients’ filesKeep a clean and stocked roomAcknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectationsCross sell Personal training and membership.Suggest and promote retail products or additional servicesUphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulationsCooperate with and report on administration on any arising issuesApply best practices and be up to date with market trends

 

CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

Proven work experience as a Spa TherapistHands-on experience in massage techniques, manicures, pedicures, waxing and face/body therapiesExperience in sales will be considered an assetExcellent knowledge of English languageCommunication and customer service skillsPositive attitudeUser level computer skillsDegree or current license in aesthetics or physiotherapy will be considered an asset
