Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Spa Therapist to join our team in Livingstone, Zambia. As a Spa Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional wellness experiences to our guests, contributing to their relaxation and rejuvenation.

Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression by addressing them by namePerform high-quality spa services according to company standards and treatment protocolsEnsure all spa equipment is in good working order and maintain a clean, hygienic environmentEducate guests about spa services, treatments, and their benefitsCustomize treatments to meet individual guest needs and preferencesParticipate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills and knowledgeMaintain accurate records of treatments and guest preferencesAssist with spa events and demonstrations as requiredCollaborate with team members to ensure seamless spa operationsAdapt to changes in schedules or procedures with a positive attitudeConduct thorough consultations with guests to understand their wellness goals and any health concernsRecommend appropriate products for at-home care to extend the benefits of spa treatmentsMonitor and maintain inventory of spa supplies and productsImplement and follow safety protocols, including proper sanitation and sterilization proceduresContribute to the development of new spa treatments and packages to enhance the guest experience

QualificationsInternational Certificate in Massage and SkincareMinimum of 2 years' experience as a Spa Therapist in a 5-star resort or equivalent settingProficiency in various massage techniques and skincare treatmentsExcellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are advantageousStrong understanding of spa etiquette, safety protocols, and hygiene standardsPhysical stamina and dexterity to perform treatments throughout the dayExceptional customer service skills with a friendly and empathetic demeanorDetail-oriented approach to ensure consistent, high-quality treatmentsAbility to work flexibly, including weekends and holidaysWell-groomed appearance with high standards of personal hygieneEnthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn and grow professionallyFamiliarity with local wellness practices or traditions is a plus
