YOUR ROLE
Our SPA Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Asaya Spa and fitness area. He/she ensures that the highest standards are adhered to and that guest experience exceeds expectations.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
* Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order and maintains a high level of safety in the workplace.
* Effectively integrate the Spa within the Hotel Marketing Strategy and to ensure ongoing representation of the Spa.
* Collaborate with the Director of Rooms and Finance on forecasts, stock levels, requisitions, budget, targets etc. and ensure a par stock level appropriate to business demands.
* Prepares monthly financial and statistical reports, incorporating proposals and recommendations regarding policy and operation at the Spa; taking into account competition, occupancy and usage, market share and achievement of targets.
* Liaise with the Director of Communications in the preparation and development of marketing plans for the year and coordination of all promotional plans and projects.
* Responsible for motivating and driving sales and establishing targets, which are realistic and achievable.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
* Prior experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality is preferred.
* Fluency in German and English is preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
* Ability to handle guest inquiry and complaint as well as establish meaningful relationships with guests and members
* Knowledge of budget preparation and control
* Possesses knowledge of SPA and reservation systems.
* Technical affinity and hands-on mentality in solving technical challenges.
