Key ResponsibilitiesOperational ExcellenceOversee the daily operations of the spa, wellness facilities, and related amenities, ensuring efficiency, safety, and service excellence.
Ensure all treatments, services, and facilities reflect Waldorf Astoria brand standards and guest expectations.
Maintain exceptional levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and ambiance in all spa areas.
Monitor inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply ordering to ensure seamless operations.
Guest Experience & ServiceDevelop and maintain a service culture that delivers personalized and anticipatory guest experiences.
Create unique wellness programs and seasonal offerings tailored to guest profiles and emerging industry trends.
Handle guest feedback promptly and effectively, turning potential service recovery situations into opportunities to exceed expectations.
Team Leadership & DevelopmentRecruit, train, and develop a world-class spa and wellness team, fostering a positive work culture and continuous learning environment.
Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback, coaching, and recognition.
Conduct regular team meetings to align on service standards, operational priorities, and guest engagement strategies.
Financial ManagementPrepare and manage the spa budget, forecasting revenue, expenses, and profitability targets.
Drive revenue growth through upselling, innovative promotions, and retail sales strategies.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve financial results.
Marketing & PartnershipsCollaborate with the Marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, partnerships, and events that drive awareness and bookings.
Maintain strong relationships with wellness brands, product suppliers, and industry professionals to bring unique offerings to the spa.
Compliance & SafetyEnsure all activities comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and Hilton/Waldorf Astoria policies.
Conduct regular risk assessments and implement preventative measures to ensure guest and team safety.
QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in a senior spa leadership role within a luxury resort or wellness destination.
Proven track record in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving spa revenue.
Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage a multicultural team.
In-depth knowledge of spa and wellness trends, treatments, and products.
Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset).
Proficiency in spa management software and MS Office Suite.
