This position will be responsible for the processing operation oversight and to ensure associate safety and compliance at all times. This will be a 12 hour rotating shift. **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Assist the plant manager in managing the operations + Ensure working conditions for all associates are in compliance with the safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company policies + Assist the plant manager in coordination and directing the daily activities of crews and teams for Soy Crushing functions + Train, develop, and follow up to ensure team members are able to perform required operations tasks + Cover positions when and wherever needed, to avoid any undue hardship on other associates + Accurate daily production reporting + Perform job within established CGMP's + Perform other tasks as assigned **Minimum Education** + High School Graduate or GED, further education preferred **Experience Requirements** + Basic leadership skills + Knowledge of manufacturing technologies + Knowledge of safety programs and requirements + Knowledge of environmental programs and requirements + Understanding of standard software applications + Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** + Able to move freely throughout the AgriBusiness facilities to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150') + Able to carry tools and equipment (0 -50 lbs) + Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 degree Fahrenheit) + Humidity (0 - 100%) + Noise (50db to 100db) + Chemical (MSDS sheets available) + Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus, hard hat, safety glasses, protective footwear and other PPE as required _Perdue Farms Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
