Our restaurant has been completely renovated and shines in new splendour as a modern eye-catcher. It is not just a restaurant – it is the culinary centre of our hotel, fresh, new, elegantly designed and ready for its grand debut.
Bar – Café – Brasserie Chou Chou
One of our sous chefs is already raring to go. All we need now is his perfect partner: a key pillar who will take on operational management alongside him and has the ambition to rise to the role of Executive Sous Chef in the near future.
Your role in our new flagship restaurant:
The leadership duo: You will work closely and as an equal with our existing sous chef. Together, you will lead our team.A fresh start with flair: You’ll breathe new life into the newly renovated Chou Chou, set new standards and ensure that the restaurant’s splendour is reflected on the plates.Career focus: We’re looking for someone who wants more. We’ll prepare you specifically for the role of Executive Sous Chef – you’ll grow alongside the restaurant’s success.Operational excellence: You will manage the operations of a high-class brasserie, coordinate the team and always maintain calm and composure at the heart of the Hilton Berlin.Optimal shift planning to ensure staff deployment meets operational requirements
Effective management of kitchen staff to create a well-organised, motivated team and foster good cooperation with the serviceTraining and appraisal of staff and traineesAs a manager, responsible for shift managementCollaboration in menu planningEnsuring consistent quality of our food whilst adhering to HACCP guidelines and brand standards

What you bring to the role
You are an accomplished chef with management experience who understands the luxury hotel industry and has at least 2–3 years’ experience in this roleStrong organisational skills and good leadership abilitiesA goal-oriented approach to workExcellent time managementYou can complete tasks within clear deadlines and set prioritiesConfident manner and assertivenessIndependence, flexibility and resilienceHighly customer-focused & service-orientedGood command of German and EnglishProficient and confident use of standard computer programmes
