Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our kitchen leadership, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentationDevelop and execute innovative menus that showcase both local and international cuisinesLead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environmentOversee food preparation, plating, and quality control across all meal periodsImplement and maintain food safety standards and health regulationsManage inventory, food costs, and kitchen budgets to optimize profitabilityParticipate in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal menu changesStay current with culinary trends and techniques to continually enhance our offeringsCollaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction

QualificationsProven experience in a sous chef or similar leadership roleStrong knowledge of diverse cooking techniques, with expertise in both local and international cuisinesExcellent understanding of kitchen operations, food cost control, and inventory managementDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a culinary teamExceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenProficiency in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentationAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
